In addition to the GewO, the following, inter alia, apply:

• Copyright Act (UrhG) – protection and rights transfer for photographic works, product images, layouts, and texts

• ECG (§§ 1–5, 13–18) – disclosure obligations and liability rules for telemedia

• UWG – competition law, in particular fairness of product presentations

• DSG & GDPR – processing of client data in the course of services and communications

• Media Act (MedG) – where content is disseminated publicly (e.g., via social media)

5. Online Dispute Resolution

Consumers have the option to submit complaints to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odrThe operator generally agrees to participate in an alternative dispute resolution procedure but reserves the right to review individual cases separately.The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising in connection with contractual relationships is—where legally permissible—the competent court at the operator’s registered office. Austrian law shall apply exclusively, to the exclusion of international conflict-of-law rules.
